DC Flood Prevention Strategy

This is a PC experience built in Unity that shows a green infrastructure solution to prevent flooding in the Federal Triangle in Washington, D.C. The solution is under discussion with Smithsonian Museum leadership. I was awarded $1000 for this project as part of the Neukom Scholars Program.

Role Details

I completed a 3D model of the Federal Triangle in Washington, D.C. in Unity and animated it using Visual Studio to show the devastating consequences of flooding as opposed to the mitigating effects of a green solution proposed by a Dartmouth professor. I created presentation materials for approval discussions with the Smithsonian Museum and other governmental agencies, including videos and a WebGL build demonstrating the solution. This project was inherited from a former student.
